9/26 Saturday-
We had decided to get a hotel the night before and leave the car there and then use their shuttle. We woke the kids up at 3 and handed them their post cards from Minnie and Mickey, Winn started to read it and I think they didn't quite comprehend what was going on! We got showered and dressed and ready to go and caught the shuttle to the airport.
I will try and post the video of it once Aaron uploads it.
We had also gotten the kids nintendo ds' after we got thru security we let them open their backpacks, sadly they were more excited about the ds' than the trip at this point.
We had one little hiccup in Houston, the flight we had to Orlando was overbooked, and we didn't have seats, (I didn't look at our boarding passes till we got to Houston) they found us seats but none of them were right next to each other, just a couple rows apart, dh was majorly peeved, and went off on the gate attendant.
We got into Orlando around 4, I think when the kids saw the Magical express buses is when it really hit them. We waited about 20 mins before we caught the bus, everything was going so smoothly, until about 10 mins into the trip the driver made a unexpected stop, and explained the power steering on the bus was out, (I think the air was too it was really hot in there) so we sat for about 20 mins before they transferred us to another bus.
Finally got into the resort (ASMovies) checked in and it was about 7.

Kids really wanted to swim, but me not thinking ahead had not brought the swim stuff carry on, so we headed to DTD to try and find something fun to do and eat. Everything was CRAZY busy, (of course) so we settled for a patio seat at Rainforest Cafe, we were the last seat, right on the edge, service was slower than slow, and about 5 mins after our food arrived it started raining, not bad at first, but with in mins, me and ds, who's backs were to the open were soaked, and then it started dumping, and thundering and lightning, omg it was crazy, and being from OR, we've seen rain! Everyone around us was abandoning their meals, we were so hungry though, you should have seen us stuffing our faces! We finally gave up and went to find our waiter and get our check (we never saw him once the whole time after we got our food) Huddled inside the gift shop for 10 mins before deciding we were already soaked, and made a dash back across DTD (the closer bus stop was closed for repairs) to the bus. Shivered all the way back the resort, took hot showers, and crashed.
