We left on Wed morning after Aaron got off work and drove to Wallace ID. We discovered that there is a really cool water park (I personally think better than Great Wolf Lodge, and at least cheaper) in Kellogg ID that we will have to hit next time. We checked in had dinner and went for a swim. The next day we were planning on putting around in Wallace, it's a cute little town (where Dante's Peak was filmed) but it was pouring down rain and we decided to just hit the road. It rained the whole way to Helena, with some snow over the pass between Missoula and Helena. Crazy for mid June!
After we got to Tristan and Erik's on Thurs Tristan and I headed to her friends for a hair cut for me and a color job for her. By far the best hair cut I have ever had! To bad she lives so far away.
Friday we hung out till Erik got off work then just played. Winn had a run in with the motor cycle, fence and trampoline, not sure how it happened but he about ripped off his toe, it was cut on both sides down to the fatty tissue and Aaron thinks the toe is broken. He also bruised his ribs and knocked the wind out of him when he close-line himself on the trampoline.
Saturday we went to a private Sapphire mine Erik had done a survey for. We dug thru the dirty for a while and came up with a few good ones.
Sunday, today we got up early, and I took the Ulmer's family pictures, then they went off to church, then out to lunch a trip to the carousel and then we noticed a big black thunder cloud coming so we headed up to higher ground to have a good view of the storm. It was huge! Amazing!
Tomorrow we move to my Aunt and Uncles just south of Missoula and hope to hit Phillipsburg and do some more sapphire mining.
